Lentil Beans, good source of protein?
Hey I was just wondering, I ate a bowl of lentil beans after a workout yesterday and I wanted to know if that is a good source of protein or if the amount of carbs it contains outweighs the protein. Thanks

if your not watching your carbs:
lentils (or most legumes) with brown rice (to complete the protein) + a serving of lean meat
Pretty much a complete kickass meal.
Concerning your post, correct me if i'm wrong guys but unless he ate the lentils with a grain to complete the protein, he acutally didn't absorb all (or any??) of the protein from the lentils
The whole 'completing the protein' is a tuff subject
