alright well my friends lil bro is a freshman in high school weighs around 185-190 5'11 and is lookin to gain weight but he cant figure out if he has enough calories or not so ill lay out his diet and see if u guys can help

    oatmeal
    milk

    445 calories
    ----
    9:30am
    lean body protein bar

    280 calories
    ----
    1200pm
    school lunch

    ???
    ----
    200pm
    2 turkey sandwhiches

    400 calories
    ----
    300pm
    1/2 bag of tuna
    1/8 cup of dried almonds
    milk

    265 calories
    ----
    4-5 work out
    ----
    500pm
    1/2 bag of tuna
    1/8 cup of dried almonds
    milk

    265 calories
    ----
    730pm
    mother's dinner

    ???
    ----
    930pm
    leanbody protein bar

    280 calories
    ----

6/8 meals coming out to 2035 calories

do you think a school lunch and w/e his mother cooks (usually a big meal, definately high in protein if not high in cals) would at least set him over 3000 calories?

    thanks bros

edit: entire diet puts him at about 210-240 grams of protein without lunch and dinner, he didn't give me carbs on it

School lunch is probably 700 cals itself so I would say yes. I would also add more eggs in breakfast and try (I know its hard) to ditch the protein bar and get some real food.

Much more real food at the meals he does eat, that's for sure.

No significant amount of progress is made on bars.

if both meals left out are 700 cals then he is at 3335 calories
