    Question Steroid Diet

I was reading into how to drop fat without losing muscle and I ran into Cy Wilsons article from tesosteron magazine. He claims that you can lose fat and keep muscle with 1625 cals, 50g carbs, 25-35g fat, and 300g protein.Plus some juice which I'm all set with. I was wondering if I limit my self to 1625 calories, I know I can perserve most of my muslce but will I be able to gain muscle as well or is my caloric in take too low? Thanks in advance!

That's way to low in my opinion...what are your goals though?
You need to be taking a whole heck of a lot more...say 3500-4500 a day.

Well i really think there is no point doing roids while trying so hard to lose fat, as these other guys say you need min 3500 cals a day, or else AS aint gunna do anything for you. Your better off doing cycles, like everyone else does.

1625 is how many calories I eat when I am dieting down on a non training day. That is no where near enough.

I don't see how it can be physically possible to get 300g of protein out of a 1625 cal. diet.

David B, it's possible with so few carbs and fat. There are 4 calories in a gram of carb or pro, and 9 in a g of fat.

    300 x4 =1200 protein cals
    50 x4 = 200 carb cals
    25 x9 = 225 fat cals

If you add those 3 together that's 1625 calories. Make sense now?

Barely. Care to cite actual food sources that will add up to those numbers?

Well, the above is not my diet, I was just trying to answer your question. I am not sure how to explain it any clearer for you, but protein sources would be the usual, egg whites, chicken, etc.

I can't turn down a good challenge though, so here you go.

Egg, white only, raw 9 cup cal 1094 fat 0 carb 23 pro 230

Chicken, breast, with or without bone, roasted, skin not eaten 1.62 cup, cooked, diced cal 358 fat 8 carb 0 pro 67

Yam, cooked, boiled, drained, or baked, with salt 0.7 cup, cubes
    cal 110 fat 0 carb 26 pro 1

    Flaxseed oil 1 tablespoon cal 120 fat 14 carb 0 pro 0

    Total Calories 1682 fat 21 carb 49 pro 299

It didn't work out perfectly for some reason, I used fitday.com, but you must get the general idea now. It could be done.

that diet is possible for sure, the added aas would help to preserve muscle mass as stated in the original post, I have done many diets like that im over 220 usually and not really fat. I have good success with them I dont lose muscle at all and have dropped body fat, usually ran fina, prop, var or just var with clen , eca along with them, never without juice

You are going to kill yourself with all that sodium in the egg whites though. I know it is not as much as if you were eating the yolks as well but I donīt think that that many a day can be healthy... of course I could be quite wrong...
