    Dried friut and nuts

Last night i was at a friends and for a snack he makes this mix with dried cranberries and all kinds of nuts(almonds brazilian hazelnuts) and he was saying that nuts and dried fruit are good for you. My question is is there any bad points to eating this stuff for example too much sugar in fruit and too much fat in nuts can anybody help me out?

I eat nuts everyday. The fat you'll find in nuts are the fats you want.
Fruit could be a problem when taken with nuts because your eating sugar and fat at the same time.
    Protein with fats-OK
    Protein with carbs-OK
Never fat and carbs together depending on whether your bulking or cutting

This may be true but be careful that the nuts that you are eating are raw. Processed nuts in the can such as ANY type of planters nuts are loaded with salt and oils that can drive the fat content through the roof.
