To all competetive bodybuilders, pre-contest diet info . . .
would any competetive builders on the board mind posting a fairly basic idea of what type of diet they follow prior to doing a show? i have no desire to compete, however i would be interested in following a cutting diet similar to one the pros follow, just to see how lean i could get. thanks.

Mike is right on this on bro but be careful. Diets are people specific depending on age, BF%, training intensities, ect. What works for one may not be exactly what works for you. While looking around keep in mind that you are looking to get a basic idea of what to eat and what to not eat. Portions, along with overall caloirc intake should not be followed to the letter when reading up on someone else's diet plan. These areas have to be tweaked to fit YOUR personaly diet plan. If you have any questoins on how to do this just give me a hollar. It really is not that hard to calculate.

YES!!!
please help! i definitely have very specific questions on how to do this. do you compete? i've got a friend that has done a couple of amateur competetions, his physique is incredible, i think he gets down to around 3or4% contest time. anyway, he's given me some basic guidelines, but i've always heard that those who compete are somewhat reluctant to offer up ALL their secrets to precontest dieting/training etc. i've even told him i'd be willing to pay!!! same goes here, i don't want to compete, i just want the look, and i'm willing to go all the way. drop me an email, [email protected] if you want, thanks!
