Your meals seem to be frequent enough how ever I don't beleive that those amounts of founds will equal almost 500g of protein. 4oz of turkey breast?? That is very small. I would up that to at least 8 ounces. 1 cup of tuna salad will only yeild approx. 15-20g of protein depending on how much tuna you have in there. You should be eating the whole can. Try taking away three of your egg yokes and substuting them with 3 more egg whites if you do that you will have a totally of 7 egg whites and 1 yoke which will be a much better amount of protein for that sitting. Even though you are trying to lose weight your don't have hardly and carbs. Without them even if you are dieting down you will lose a lot of hard earned muscle mass. That you don't want. You have to up your carbs. For example look at adding a 1/2 cup of oats to the egg meal and a small baked potato or yam to the chicken meal.

I hear ya Shredz but- I am doing CKD. So I do get carbs on Friday night and Saturday. The tuna is 2 cans of tuna. I agree about the eggs though. I may consider egg beaters. What do you think ?

When I have my eggs whites I always buy them in the cartoon. It comes in a small milk cartoon 250ml and contains 8 egg whites I then add one whole egg to it. This saves a lot of time and cracking. You get 2 cans of tuna into one cup. What else are you mixing in it to make it tuna salad??

if i were you, i i would have about 60-80g of carbs which are complex, whole grain oats, whole wheat bread, veggies and then weekend do ur carb up, if you go to strict you'lll end up binge eating on weekends, u think now u wont but as the diet goes on u deff will. so if you eat alittle more, hae some carbs, 1 you'll look better cause u wont look so flat from 0 carbs and 2 when u do cheat on weekends u wont binge you'll have a couple meals of ur choosing an be happy were as if you stay that strcit when weekends come you'll feel as if you have to get everyhting in in 2 days that u wanted all week and DEFF take a fat burner!

That doesn't look like enough cals to help preserve muscle. I just don't like the over all look of that diet, too many shakes and not enough cals... than again I don't know your stats either.

Bump the fats up if you're going keto. Also where did you get that protien #? It's off for sure, no way that is near 600 grams of protien.

497 protein x 4 =1988
10 carbs x 4=40
57g fat x 9 =513
total=2541 calsLast edited by bobbo23; 07-28-2003 at 01:24 PM.
