How is the Protein/Carb/Fat Discovered in FOODS?!
I've been thinking of this for awhile and I think I need some help from those who know. How the hell do they (i dunno who they are, but 'they') figure out how many grams of Protien/Carb/Fat are in whatever we eat??? How is it determined that 1 ounce of Chicken has 10 grams of protein and no fat or carb? Hoooow?!

Hi Ronny! Sounds like you have the makings of a clinical nutritionist!
There are various tests that are performed (each test checks for different nutrients) but I'm ebarrassed to say I've forgotton how and what I did (I studied Nutrition, physiology and biochemistry at university). Suffice to say that the tests are accurate
I do remember that the pee tests were most embarrassing... lol
