I usually put in 35g of dextrose and 25g of maltodextrin. If you are only using dextrose, use about 60g.

I hear it is about a third of a cup(75 g of carbs) of dextrose post workout and then another 75 g's of complex carbs from solid food an hour or two after that to replenish glycogen levels. www.1fast400.com has cheap dextrose and NOW brand is really good in that it makes the Post workout shake tast SOOO sweet!!!

Abstrack this always confuses me with regards to food. Like when they list a food portion in oz is it the volume in oz or weight in oz? I am assuming it is weight....

I remember when I had supplement direct's dextrose it said 1/3 of a cup equaled 75 g of carbs, what is the deal?

    Check here...

So did you make a mistake on your calculations then? If 1.25 teaspoons is 4 grams of carbs then a half cup is 75 grams of carbs as 0.5 cups is 24 teaspoons and 24 X 4 = 76.....

We both must be dumbasses though because my math is off and we didnt notice it. For some reason I said 24 X 4 is 76 which is WRONG!! Wrong calculations and wrong coversion...Whoops....

Yes it is 24 teapsoons but its 1.25 teaspoons to 4 grams of dex or simplfied 1 teaspoon to 3.2 grams of dex.

So really its 24 times 3.2 which is 76.8....
