    favorite post workout meal

    what is everyones fav post meal.

    mine is chix parm. (grilled w lowfat sauce and cheese) reg if i'm cheatin

    seems to have a nice comb of everything

    Immediatly after lifting i love a Mass RX shake (50 gs of carbs, 30 gs of protein). An hour to an hr and half later , I have grilled chicken, some type of veggie, and alot of wild rice.

    I like 2 grilled chicken deluxe no cheese from mcdonald's , roughly 50 grams protein and 100grams carbs

    Sounds weird, but one of my favs:

    toasted split english muffin (1)
    2 poached or fried(with pam) eggs
    1/2 cup light cottage cheese
    1 oz old cheddar, yellow or orange

    toast the muffins, top with 1/2 the cottage cheese on each, slap an egg on each half, top with 1/2 oz cheese (the real stuff-I hate slices) on each egg. Yum! Protein, some carbs and fat, hits the spot every time.

    well, this is my directly postworkout meal (as soon as I get home, 15 minutes after workout) :

    40g pure whey powder
    30-40g honey
    1 tabelspoon ice cold water

    mix well until everything is blended, and it is the consistency of REALLY thick pudding - absolutely delicious

    Isopure protein w/ 40g dextrose immediately after workout

    Poached salmon, wild rice, asaragus, brocolli or
    16oz Strip, baked potatoe(plain), green beans, salad w/ homade peppered vinager dressing, and organic garlic bread.

    Immediately after training 1 scoop of ionized whey + 2 scoops dextrose + water...1 hr later 7oz chicken breast, grilled green peppers, salsa on a whole wheat flat bread (wrap)

    40 g whey protein
    1 scoop of cell tech
    3-4 slices whole bread( hey i'm in college, thats about all i can afford)
