difference between frying and baking chicken breast
i used to use fat free pam, but after advice from you guys i switched to extra virgin olive oil
so i was baking my chicken breast/fish in olive oil in the oven
and i figured what would be the difference between frying it on the stove and baking it in the oven? i just assumed that baking it was the more healthy route to go, is that accurate?

I like to coat the frying pan in PAM, then dust the chicken with whatever dry seasoning, then spray the chicken with PAM to make sure the spices stick and just cook it on medium heat, without any extra olive oil. Also a good no-calorie way to improve it is give it a splash of lemon juice a minute or so before it is done.

olive oil is extremely healthy though, its better than fat free pam

During off-season I do, but when in show prep I use non-stcik Pam.....and yes baking is a better route but using Pam and frying it up ain't gonna kill ya. I prefer grilling it but that's just me....as for boiling it...hey it turns out pretty damn juicy and if ya seaon it right afterwards it's not to bad.

AS long as you cut the fat off the breast there isn't going to be much of a difference..
Its not like a steak where there is fat in the chicken breast and in that case grilling would be better, so the fat drips down..
What fat is left on the breast? next to none..
I soak my breast's (that sounded funny) in Lime juice, pepper, garlic and a little rock salt.. Then put six table spoons of olive oil in the pan for about 5 breasts.. Also, I beat the breasts down before letting them soak.
