what to choose for night time?
What do you guys eat right before bed and in the middle of the night (if you eat here)????
I usually just take a whey shake and eat some brown rice and peanutbutter... a night time meal would be a shake with milk+1-2 spoons of flaxseed oil...
But I was thinking that whey is digested much too quickly, so what would be a better choice??

I usually make myself some scrambled eggs seasoned with various spices, mixed in with some steakums when bulking, and topped off with various kinds of hot sauces

Def do not want to take whey...go for some casein...it is digested slower...also I have heard that cottage cheese works well at this time.
Good Luck

Don't do cottage cheese or dairy for that matter - avoid late night carbs. Brown Rice before bed is a bad idea too - stick to veggies and protein rich foods.
The Casein approach is a good way to keep nitrogen levels postive for a longer period of time (ie, Myoplex). In that respect it is a better protein than Whey.

Warrior, i thaught cottage cheese had only about 4g of carbs at 100g. That doesn't seem to much, sa i eat 250g of cottage cheese before bed and in the middle of the night, when i wake up to take a piss, some amino acids capsules or whey....

If cottage cheese only has 4 grams of lactose carbs per serving (I can't recall what it is) then it would be fine.
