am i losing protein or calories by.......
What's up everyone?! I have heard that if you cook or like fry carrots( just for example) you lose nutriets when if you would have just eaten them un cooked, true or not?? I hope that made sense, lol!!!
Now my main question, I cook my chicken with a crock pot, so I am cooking my chicken through hot water, am I losing protein and calories by doing this??? and if so what is the best way to prepare chicken, so that I will not lose as much nutrients?????????????
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks, Devistate

Warrior could answer this better than I. Using a crock pot won't make you lose any protein, but for the nutrients I'm not sure.....now if you were to burn the chicken like I did last week that's a different story. I just season the chicken breasts and wrap them in foil and bake 'em in the oven.

Just a quicky !!!
We were made to eat most plants raw!!! that is why a raw carrot is better than a cooked one ! On the other hand, you cannot eat chicken raw ! You must cook it ... So I try to not overcook anything .. I hope that my chicken is juicy and my steak is rare... As for fish I rather eat that raw although I have not happened across a study saying that cooked fish is not as good for you...
Good Luck brother...
