Whats your favorite source of protein?

Just seeing if theres something out there that Im totally not thinking about

I eat steak, unfried chicken (even skinned chicken) but mostly skinless, tuna, and roast beef/pastrami

Dont like fish other than tuna, but could see myself eating some salmon

Im looking for a protein that I can eat without filling me up so much. 8-9oz of steak has me full for a good 4-5hrs

Beef is a very slow digesting protein. Egg whites and flaky white are quite the opposite. Red meat is good but I only eat it before the gym and bed.

I cant do eggs, just cant stomach it. something about that smell

I only take in 50g of whey/casein a day, I dont want to take in alot of protein from scoops of whey but I wonder if Id be ok going up to 100g a day from the powder stuff instead of raw foods?

Also I see theres a fiber bread, it costs like $5-6 a loaf but it has 8g of protein per slice hmmm

Great this is what Im looking for more ideas of protein sources.

Like I said name ones that dont really fill you up and live you full for long. That way it can digest and I can eat 2-3hrs later again

For me it's bonelss, skinless chicken breasts, tuna & salmon. It's better to get your protein from natuaral sources than powder. Natural food is better for your metabolism than protein shakes, (IMO). I try to only do a whey shake PWO when my body is hunting for protein.

    Lean protein:

    - Ground beef (93% lean or better)
    - Ground Turkey
    - Eggs Whites (1-2 whole eggs can be harmlessly added per egg-white meal)
    - Lean steak (Flank, flat iron, or top sirloin)
    - Bison sirloin among other cuts (The highest quality red meat overall IMO)
    - Chicken breast
    - Turkey breast
    - Tuna (canned, fresh steaks, or sushi/sashimi - watch the mercury)
    - Salmon/Trout - great o*ega 3 sources.
    - Tilapia, Grouper, Halibut (mostly all white fish)
    - Shellfish
    - Venison
    - Quinoa (complete protein Low GI carb)
    - low sodium roasted turkey - deli slices (on-the-go purposes only)
    - Whey protein (post-workout recovery purposes only)
    - Casein/Cottage cheese (before bed only)

Do you guys think roast beef and pastrami has too much sodium?

Especially for someone who is about to start a cycle?

I like to get a pound of roast beef from the grocery store and eat a few slices here and there while Im at work

Its because of the sodium though correct? Or is there other reasons?

Basically sodium. But also just a much more highly-processed food in general.

I agree, I ate one today that was only 8.5oz and I was full for 3 1/2hrs that sucks because that was only 50g of protein and 0 carbs so I was to full to throw down some brown rice or oatmeal
