    Consuming 5,000 Calories per Day!

I've been bulking, I try to consume a lean 4,000 to 5,000 calories a day, I thought I was doing fairly well, untill I started using a calorie counter.

    This website is excellent, http://www.livestrong.com/myplate

You can find just about any brand of food, any restaurant food, choose what you ate, and then it will track and calculate the nutrients for the serving size, and it tracks everyday for you! It's brilliant for bodybuilding.

Anyways, today I've tracked everything I've ate so far

    breakfast I had
    -2 eggs scrambled
    -3 egg whites scrambled
    -2 slices whole wheat bread
    -1 banana
    -2 cups of skim milk

total caloric intake of 771, 54 grams of protein, 95 grams of carbs.

Then I went and worked my back about an hour later. After my workout (i'm out of protein powder) I ate this

    -1 8oz sirloin
    -1 10oz chicken breast
    -1 baked potato
    -4 peices of raw broccoli
    -1tbs of sour cream
    -1/2 cup of shredded cheese.
    -2 cups skim milk

total caloric intake of 1008, 150 grams of protein (not bad for post workout ) 32 grams of carbs.

I'm pretty full but I'm going to try to eat at around 3:30 before work.

But after those two heaping meals my total is 1,779 cals, 204grams protein, and 127 grams of carbs.

Now this blows my mind, after those two huge meals I'm still not even close to consuming 5,000 calories! And this doesn't even take into consideration the calories I've burnt while working out!!

Maybe I should throw in a big mac with each meal lol.

well you are only on meal 2 what about 3,4,5 and 6? If you want to consume that many calories you need have to be eating at least every 3 hours. good luck on that.

Right, well 3 will be before work which is usually a fairly big meal since I work at a steakhouse. Then I will get off work and eat a 4th meal. Then maybe a snack before bed, I really don't have time to eat 5-6 meals a day.

I think it would be physically impossible for me to down 5k (good calories) in a day without vomiting at some point.
