    Olive Oil

    Hey bros, I am leaving the keto diet for now and starting a bulking cycle (yeahhhh! welcome carbs!). When I was on the keto I was consuming like 3 to 4 tablespoons of olive oir through the day. Should I keep taking the same amount while bulking or I should lower the quantity? If so, how much?

    Well eat about 50% Carbs, 40% Protein, 10% Fat


    You can move aroudn the percentages by about 5% or so and results should stay the same.

    I would bump the fat intake up a little on the bulking phase. If you eat too clean, it will hurt your growth... make sure part of your fat intake is flax seed oil. Olive oil is a better choice of oil. I know some trainers that recommend it immediately before bed, cuz it burns slow through the night, keeping you satisfied.

    Everyone's metabolism is different. You may want to go 40/40/20 if your metabolism is faster. Or 40/50/10. Switch it up. Just make sure you are eating enough. I would recommend at least 2 grams protein per lb of lean body weight.

    I use 1 tablespoon of olive oil when cooking my eggs (whites) and 1 tablespoon of flax in 2 of the 4 protein drinks I have throughout the day.

    Thanks bros. I would add like a tablespoon more to one of my shakes and Im DONE. Titaniun, thats right, having a tablspn of oil with my shake before bed feels me up very well through the night.

    Good point are you counting the 7 kcal for each gram of alcholol? LOL

    True Big AL ..... actually Alcohol is the mystery food ....
    carbs and protein have 4 calories per gram and fats have 9 cal.
    Alcohol has 7 cal .... per gram .. Plus alcohol is the only ( food ) that permeates the stomach lining ... this is why so many BAD things can happen to Alcoholics .... this overdrinking eats away at the stomach lining... blah blah blah ... you know the rest ...

    But red wine has been proven to be very beneficial... thats why they removed the surgeon General's warning label ..excluding the pregnant women statement ....

    But thats at a small glass a day ..... with meals
