new to the site!!! had a question abot post workout carbo's
I know simple carbs are needed post workout. Now I was wondering besides DEXTROSE and Malodextrose(spelling?) what could I eat say at home that would BE AS GOOD OR CLOSE TO AS GOOD AS THOSE?
Right now I use (orange juice,grape juice,some gatorade,bananas)I am curious are these good POST WORKOUT CARBS? Im new here and any help would be appreciated!

I would say honey is one of the better choices, its a 73on the GI.
Sucrose is 65, lactose is 46, fructose is 23. I believe dextrose is 99 or high 90's.

I use grape juice myself.

Well before I was aware of using dextrose I would just use a couple of spoonfulls of honey.
