What do you do when you feel your gonna cheat late at night
Just a question to see what all of you do here when that hunger attack kicks in late at night. For all of you that know what I'm talking about, what do you do to prevent it? Right now I'm starting my low carb/cal diet slowly for summer and cut back on a lot, and feel like binging late at night. Wanted to know what you people do.

Drink water. Many times you will confuse hunger with dehydration - especially when low carb and water is not stored as easily. And a full stomach of water is less likely to get hungry

option 1: go to sleep earlier
option 2: drink a low to no carb protein shake
option 3: eat a low carb moderate protein bar
option 4: maybe its just me, but don't smoke pot at night.
option 5: have sex, fall asleep

I am actually preparing for a show and sometimes my carbs get low as hell and i give in. Its ok really. Dont do it all the time, but what i do is three diffrerent things. One is get the no fat rice cakes. Some have lower carbs then others. The ones i am referring too i keep just for cravings at night. There 7g carbs. There popcorn flavor. That and a glass of crystal light lemonade works. My second suggestion is get lean turky meet. 3 slices are 15g protein, i will eat one or two slices with a sliced 1/4 dill pickel, and water. And the my last suggestion is fight it! Drink a glass of water or crystal light, low carb pro drink mixed with water, waterever you got to do but fight it. Truth is if your not right around the corner from a show, a mouth ful of carbs are not gonna make or break ya.

I usually get a heavy craving for something sweet late in the evening...
Lately my release has been a half cup of firm fat free cottage cheese (has the consistency of Philly cream cheese) with a spoonfull of sugar free strawberry jam in it.
Tastes sweet as all heck and give a a good shot of protein just before bed.

When you go grocery shopping dont buy any ice cream or cake or any junk food. So if you do have to crave for something, you won't have a choice but to take in a protein shake or glass of milk instead of something worse....
If you live with a wife or whomever, tell her to hide all the good stuff so you cant find it...

See my wife and kids dont hide anything. I usually carve cereal or something not cakes and stuff. But pickels have no calories, or low as hell anyway. Protein as food or whatever is the key. BUt after my body takes in 400g of prot, and 100 to 125g carbs a day my mouth wants carbs!! One thing that makes it harder to fight cravings is i get up and piss at least 5 to 7 times a night minimum. Man when these shows are over i am gonna give in alot more.

I just do it, in moderation, usually when I am bulking or maintaining. If I am cutting I usually make some egg whites up and that makes me not want anymore food. (I am not a big fan of plain egg whites)

If i get a strong urge to cheat late at night, I'll pound a low carb protein shake followed up with about another liter of water

I just grab some water and head back to bead, I have come to the realization that the few moments I crave something can be fought off with a bit of water, a cold room and a warm bed. I always drift off not worrying about it the next day.

Try lie deli meats. Ham, cheeses, sliced chicken breast. No cooking involved, easy as hell.

man, and I thought I was the only one having the cereal cravings. I've been taking a sleeping pill to get me tired faster. it might not be the healthiest thing but it works. I don't wake up in the middle of the night hungry anymore. now in the morning thats a different story.
