Critiq my diet please, is it ok???
I am currently on EQ/ECA, wanting to mainly cutup but just but on a lil muscle. From what I've read and researched about cutting diets, you want to go high protein and low to no carbs, so this is what I've come up with......feel free to take out, add, or tell me to get back to the drawing board! haha...Once again, thanks guys!
6:30-8a.m. Cardio and workout (I pump it in the mornings)
8:30a.m. 7-8 egg whites, no yolk
4 oz oats
protein shake (20g)
11 or 12a.m. can of tuna
2p.m. chicken breast
can of tuna
6-8 oz of brown rice
1 tbsp natural PB
4p.m. protein shake
7p.m. pretty much same as 2p.m. meal
chicken and/or salmon
tuna
brown rice
1tbsp flax seed oil
9-10p.m. before bed, another protein shake
Well there it is, all and all I think its about 150-170 gms of protein, and about 30-50 carbs.......please critique! More?? Less??? Whatever! Let er Rip!!!
p.s. I'm 5'10", 195.....not sure about body fat???? but wanting to get it down.......

A lot of your food is coming from shakes, real food is better, much better digestion wise. I would up your protein intake, esp when cutting, helps preserve muscle. Actually what is your daily calories they look very very low. Only 170g protein and 50g carbs if you are getting 80g fat which I know you are not, you are only getting 1600cals that is very low, and I know you are not getting that much fat. You have some nice healthy fats in there which is good. Also don't forget about lean peices of meat.

How would I up my protein intake?? How would I up my calorie intake? And can you please give me some more ideas for lean meat????

5pm- throw a shake in here

I still don't think this is enough but you know your body better than anyone.

Not enough what Big Tex?? Protein? Carbs? What? That’s the thing? I don’t know my body that well yet……That’s why I’m asking yall……haha! Thanks guys……..

I was saying that I don't think it was enough calories. Protein you want 1 gram of protein per pound of lean body mass. Carbs- it all depends on how your body responds to them.
