i tried ginger for digestion probs and it really helped. i cannot get ginger dried in caps here, but i was told many a time that fresh ginger root is ok. i normally grate it and infuse it in hot water for 15 minutes to extract all the 'useful stuff'. i decided to have a bit of a change tho - took some ginger root (must be very fresh), slice it very thinly, sprinkle over some sweetener (I tried it with both equal and stevia) on both sides of the 'slices' and serve immediately. be prepapred for a wickedly sweet, surprisingly yummy treat - and its good for (chug that protein - ginger will take care of it haha ) but you better have a high threshold, that stuff can be pretty strong and hot.
