well first of all we dont know whether u are cutting or not? whats your water intake like? what supplements do you take?

    meal 1
    -no protein
    -too much sugar

    meal 2
-bread isnt the best choice for cutting

    workout
-i guess this is post workout, dunno how many grams of protein and no simple sugars

    meal 3
again, same as meal 2 dunno whether u are cutting or not so cant tell if the potato is a good choice

    meal 4
    -not enough protein
    -too much high GI
-milk, same as meal 3 and 2

    meal 5
-guess thats the meal before bed, in that case bread is a poor choice before bed especially with the carbs
-unless its sugar free jelly, too much sugar
-peanut butter, is it natural or no?

Looks like you need more protein, cut down on the sugars, more water and more fat(EFAs)

im not cutting im trying to put some bulk/muscle on.. supplement i use is met-rx shake its 37g protein cuz of the high cost i only drink that once a day after workout, would the oatmeal be all right if its natural kind that u cook yourself? i knew cereal might not be the best idea. but its easy to prepare, and the peanut butter is natural yes, thats where i get the EFAs from. i guess if u have a diet of your own id be glad to hear it, im not too good at cooking though. oh My water intake is about.. 4 glasses a day? guess i need more than that

    Re: critique this diet

    Try this:

meal 1 -- NEVER skip this or any other meanl, if you have to, drink a protein shake.

    1 cup oatmeal
    1 orange
    6 egg white/2 yolk

    meal 2
    2 cans oftuna
    wheat bread
    water

    workout
    protein shake
    dextrose

    meal 3
    chicken or fish
    baked potato
    vegetables

    meal 4
    chicken/tuna/some kind of lean meat
    1/2-3/4 cup rice or potatoe

    meal 5
protein shake w/flax oil or natural peanutbutter

Give this a try for awhile and see how it goes.

first of all if you are trying to bulk up, try having a lot more protein. You are 160 pds, I would aim for about 200 g's a day. I just posted my maintenance diet, one in which I feel confident in. It gets about 2900 cals a day in for me, but i weight close to 200. It might prove to be a good bulking diet for you. check it out.....Good Luck!!!
