CKD's impact on lipid levels?
will the typical CKD diet affect my lipid profile.i mean i am trying to lower my cholesterol and this high fat diet looks like a harsh one for lipid levels.then again i read this,your thoughts.....

Nope it might actually lower it. Insulin is what converts the sat fats to cholesterol and all those other bad things. Since slin will be very low no conversion. Plus your diet has been found to be little effective on cholesterol numbers, your body can make chol so if it is getting a lot from your diet it doesn't produce any, if you aren't getting any in your diet then body produces a lot. I have seen a lot of reports of people lowering chol numbers while on a CKD diet.
