Appetite Down?
Hey guys (and gals),
Does anybody have a problem with lack of appetite on a low calories (500 debited) low carb (under 200g/day) diet with lots of cardio and lifting?
I've been dieting for about 4 weeks now, and my appetite is starting to crash. I feel great, though and I'm making very solid progress in weight loss (actually managed to add muscle and lose fat).
Is this something to be worried about?
Or maybe I'm bored?

Your metabolism is slowing to make up for the deficite in calories. Your body is smart and adapts quickly. Also your stomach is probably shrinking to what it should be and you don't need as much food as you once did to feel full. I would add a few "cheat" days (I call them carb up days) to get your metabolism back up to speed.

yes......
pain is one of the few that give advice that I agree with about 100% of the time.
For me to say that is very, very RARE!!!!!!
