Low carb diet!!!!
Ok boys and girls.....I've been doingthis for a couple of weeks and have seen some pretty good results so far, but just want to see if ya'll think it needs tweeked a bit more or not. 6'2" was 245 now 235lbs bf% ?
6am
6 egg whites/2 yolks
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 Stacker2 (thinking of taking 2)
9am
2 chicken breast
1/2 cup rice
3/4 cup mixed veggies
12pm
turkey breast sandwhich on whole wheat w/mustard
1 can tuna
3pm
2 chicken breast
1/2 cup rice
3/4 cup mixed veggie
6pm
lean meat (turkey, chicken, ground chuck, steak)
1- 1 1/2 cup veggie
8pm
protein shake 44g
creatine 5g
1 Stacker2 (debating taking 2 or 1 earlier about 1pm)
9:30pm
protein shake 44g
creatine 5g
dextrose
10:30pm-midnight
either
6 egg whites w/2 yolks
or
protein shake 25g
w/flax or sponfull of natural peanutbutter

Looks pretty damn good to me, your carbs are low and early in the day, I guess around 150g or a little under?? Sounds good for your weight. Protein looks good, I dont like the days that your get all your protein after 8pm from shakes, scares me about the catabolic effects of sleep. I personally would like to see one more serving of nuts or flax in the early day but that is just nit picking. I am assuming your veggies are good ones not corn and peas? Also your bread better be real wheat bread that is grainy and not that crap that is really white bread with wheat germ thrown in at the second to last ingredent to give it color!! Also that rice better not cook in a bag..... I am just bitching at you now. hahahahahaha

Pain....naw I get a meanl in me again after 8, shakes before bed.
Bread is real wheat...buy it from the local bakery.
I'll throw som Peanutbutter in with lunch
And rice is the shit that takes forever to cook LOL

Compared to this diet I wished I was though.....this low carb stuff is killing me, especially cutting back calories like this.....I'm always hungry it seems like. Oh well........I'm getting leaner, so when I want to bitch about it I go look in the mirror and feel better. (And NO I'm not conceeded!!)

Ive tried a low carb diet to, my wheight loss was big, but my fat lost sucked, lol for each 4 pounds i was loosing about 2 of glycogen and water, 1 of muscle, and only 1 of fat...
im frustrated about it...
i guess low cabr was not the answer for me...

J-F, how low carb did you go? I'm getting on average 100-150 grams a day and 1 a week I up it to about 250-300 grams. I haven't lost any strength and I look and feel good. Sorry to hear it didn't work for ya.
