    drinking,...

Not trying to get off on not doing research, but having a hard time finding nutritional facts on alchol except beer. I was wondering what a shot (1 oz) of say absolute would have in it, carbs/cals/sodium, or jack or something. I like to go out to the bar 4-5 times a month, and going on a cycle in about 4-5 days, wondering what to drink. If water seems to be the way to go, maybe I will have to be the sober one, but anyone have ideas on what won't be to crazy on the body.

    drinking,...

You can relate you're question to...say... uh...."I want to enter the ironman, but will a couple of cigarettes be o.k... " If you are seriuous about bodybuilding and taking drugs to give you max performance why hinder the goal?

My first suggestion is you shouldn't drink. I don't have to say why.

but here is a site that has a lot of booze listed

I drink gallons of water, but when going out in a "social" place (like a pub with friends) then I'll just order the "I'm the designated driver" orange juice or bottled water.

Surprising how many pubs will give you the drink on the house when you tell them you're the driver.

I'd say don't drink if you can handle it...I know its tough.

Most beers have around 8 gs of carbs if not more. Plus the cals are useless from a weightlifting stand point.

Liquor usually has 0 carbs, but it also can destroy the vitamins and minerals your body needs.

    It a lose-lose situation
