carb diet
when i start a low carb diet the first week i lose 8lbs is that normal and second week i lose like 7-8 more .why do i lose weight so fast ,i read that you should only lose 1-4 lbs a week if you lose anymore its muscle .does that mean im loseing muscle:unsure:

It is mainly water weight. Your muscle do not hold as much water due to the decrease in muscle glycogen. The first week is normal but the 7-8lb a week later is a little strange to me.
