    help my diet!!! got to gain weight for college football

    i need to put on some weight for football next year. i got till august.
    my diet goes as follows:

    7;30 4 eggs scrambled glass of oj glass of water and a weight gain shake

    10:30 bannana,yogart, water and some nuts.

    1:15 2 roast beef or turkey sandwiches carots an apple and some jucie and what ever scraps i can find from the girls at my table.

    4:00 post work out shake(wieght gainer) a big mac or a double stack w/ cheese

    7:30 grilled chicken or burger or some type of roast w/ rice

    11:00 yogurt or cottage cheese or a peanut butter sandwich a glass of milk and a glass of water

    how much carbs/pro/fats are in that diet?
    i wouldnt use a big mac or anything from macdonalds if you wanna put on some quality bulk.

    i dont know exact numbers i just try to keep everything high cuz i got a high metabolism. but i would like to know what i could do i dont want my bf to go up or down i would like to just put on more weight. im also wordering about sugar intake and oil if i should add flax seed oil or some other type of oil.

    I'd shoot for 4000 calories at 6' 200 lbs.

    Protein- 300+ grams
    Carbs- 400+ grams
    fat-?

    7:30am
    10 egg whites/3 yolks scrammbled
    1 cup oats
    1 glass OJ
    1/2 -1 cup milk

    10:30am
    weight gainer shake
    banana or peanut butter sandwhich ( I take it you'll be in class at this time)

    1:15pm
    2 chicken breast
    1 cup rice
    2/3 cup veggie

    4pm
    post workout shake (protein and dextrose)
    wait 30-60 minutes eat a meal
    ex. chicken breast with rice

    7:30pm
    lean meat
    1 cup rice or oats
    2/3 cup veggie

    11pm
    some kind of protein I prefer a protein shake with some flax.

    Anothe trick I did back in school was to eat a peanutbutter sandwhich in betweeen each class and drink a half gallon or more of skim milk a day and do a cardio twice a day 5-6 dats a week. This helped keep me at 220 until I hit college. Of course I know better ways of eating now to hlp gain weight.

    thanks i dont think i can put down 10 egg whites in the morning but i could try. im actuly a lil bigger now im about 215. i dont know what dextrose is? i barly ever do cardio mybe like 2 twice a week i know i should do it more but i just dont like losing weight. i have a preety high metabolism. should i put some flax in all my shakes? ive never used it before.and i dont have class at 10 30, at my school we have 2 short lunches instead of one so i have lunch at 10:30 and 1:15. any more suggestions?

    Adding dextrose to your post workout drink is a must. Your body needs an insulin spike immediately following an intense workout session. You can get dextrose online or from a home beer brewing store.

    Adding flax to your protein shakes is a good way to bump up your total daily calorie intake. If its more conveniant take a bag of almonds, cashews, walnuts or peanuts with you to class. Other then that...go with the diet Big T layed out and your all set. Now go get your grub on bro! ~US~

    Hey i gained like 50 pounds of bulk over like 6 months wit some fat. I'd say your best bet is to increase the carbs and calories try N-large protein its really good stuff. Also try lifting in lower reps no more than 6. Just keep training and lifting.

    Well if you can't find dextrose toss in about 3-4 spoonfulls of honey with your pst workout shake. Also I'd only use flax in maybe your am shake and right before bed shake. Cardio...when bulking maybe 3 times a week but watch that you're not over doing it.
