As you may know from other threads I am reintroducing some carbs into the diet. I just wanted to know if things like lentils, chickpeas, beans etc. are a good source??

I see they are very complex, low fat, very low GI. Would having lentils as a carb source for example post postworkout be a good choice (normally we have in the house the canned lentils/beans in water, no sugar added).
