    Maintenance calories ratios correct?

What do you guys think about the formula for calculating your daily maintenance calories? It is based on your bodyfat %, activity level, and weight. I am 205, 10% bf, and workout for 1-1.5 hrs a day 5 days a week, and it says i need around 3500 cals a day? I just wonder whether these figures are a bit inflated. Any input would be great.....

Those numbers seem really high to me as well. Try this equation. I'm pretty sure this one is the industry standard. This one doesn't take activity level into consideration though.

    66+(6.3 X lbs.) + (12.9 X height{inches}) - (6.8 X Age{years})

    Hope this helps. REDROCK
