What do you think of potatoes?
When is the best time to eat them or should subtitude them with something else?

I like them in the earlier part of the day, but usually opt for rice instead.

Sweet potatoes or "yams" are generally better than white potatoes. Their nutritional value is alot better. I wouldnt always substitute them out of my diet, but i would watch how many you eat so you dont go "overboard". Brown rice and sometimes white rice or whole wheat/grain bread is better. And i always like to consume my starchy carbs before my workout, unless its brown rice after my workout.
