    HDL/LDL Cholesterol Advice

So I got my 2nd round of bloodwork. The first time, what kept me from cycling was my cholesterol numbers, mainly my HDL and LDL. Triglycerides were also a concern, but I wasn't too worried. Since then, I've been much more consistent about staying on my diet. Nowhere NEAR a perfect diet, but many times better than where I was before my first round of BW where I was eating fast food and junk food probably 2-3 times a week. I honestly can't remember the last time I had fast food now. And I had pizza one time within the last month or two. Other than that, I've stayed very consistent to a better diet than what I've ever had consistently.

I've also been taking a lot of fish oil, as well as red yeast rice and niacin for cholesterol. But for my 2nd round of BW, 3 months later, my numbers somehow came back slightly worse. My HDL is exactly the same as it was before. My LDL is just a little bit higher. At least my triglycerides went down quite a bit and my total cholesterol is down, but the HDL and LDL ratio are what I would consider unacceptable for cycling, especially since my HDL is considered in the low range.

Does anyone have any advice about improving those numbers? Because it seems like improving my diet and staying consistent with it has actually made matters worse somehow (although my gains are better than they've ever been). I'm not going to cycle if my shit is already jacked up.

I'm in a hurry so I'll post pics of bloodwork later, but the estrogen is in normal range. It did dip down slightly from 3 months ago, but probably nothing more than a natural fluctuation. The test, on the other hand, went down sharply, though I don't think I feel any different. My total test dropped nearly 20% and my free test was less than half of what it was 3 months ago. I didn't get SHGB tested this time around because I had that done last time to establish a baseline. I know that has to do with free test numbers, but I'm not sure if SHGB suddenly became a problem since I didn't get that tested this time.

it would be interesting to see if running a low dose cycle of Test (300mg) with no AI usage for about 12 weeks would impact your lipid profile for the better or worse.

If your red yeast rice was purchased in the US, it’s worthless.
The statin that lowers the LDL is illegal in the US without a prescription.
