    Need Diet Help No Gluten/dairy/eggs/sugar

    Hey all,

Need to go on a 2 month diet. I have always had stomach issues and a doctor suggested I do an almost stomach reset. I am trying to figure out a way to still keep/gain muscle on this diet.
I am trying to figure out how I am going to do this. No dairy/gluten/eggs/sugar/alcohol
For meats can only eat Deer, Chicken, Turkey, bison, fish

I am not looking for a whole diet, just some meal ideas.

All I have come up with is brown rice/chicken/beans for an easy meal. Maybe sweet potato/ chicken/ salad with some shit dressing. I feel like I am not going to make it

If you are looking for foods easy on the stomach I would avoid brown/whole wheat carbs and legumes (beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc). You would also want to avoid nightshade vegetables

These have high amounts of lectins which are harder on the digestive system compared to say white rice.

If you do salad dressing I would make your own rather than buying processed store ones .

I'm curious as to how your Doctor choose 2 months as a time frame to improve gut health.

It's been shown in many studies that the gut microbiome is fluid, dynamic, and constantly evolving. A good example of this is when people try to switch to a Ketogenic diet it can take long periods of time before the body permanently increases fat digesting enzymes (ie - Lipase) [a state of being fat-adapted] and reducing carbohydrate enzymes like Amylase or Sucrase

What specific stomach issues do you have and what treatment programs have you tried?

I'm not sure what budget constraints you have but ground bison + white rice + vegetables for 6 meals while alternating fat sources at each meal is a pretty easy and delicious diet to follow. This meal was coined "monster mash" by Stan Efferding (not that he was the first person to invent the combination of foods).
