PWO Shake After Morning Cardio - Breakfast 1 hr. later
I am about to start doing morning cardio. Empty stomach walking for about 30-45 mins. This is during a lean mass bulking phase where most carbs are after workouts in the pm. My questions is has anybody tried to down a mild "pwo-type" shake after cardio...say 30g whey/50g dex and then an hour later your reg. breakfast with 8 egg whites and a cup of oats.
Or should you just have your reg. breakfast right after the cardio and skip the shake. Certainly you wont have any over spill as far as glycogen restoration goes after the long cardio session. And I want to get back to normal pretty fast to prevent muscle breakdown.
Any suggestions?

is the point of your cardio to burn fat and calories? if so dump the carbs and do a pro/fat. if your not trying to burn excess calories and just strengthen your heart then i wouldnt do cardio that often.
