Hey guys, looking for some wisdom from you all...
I have just started lifting to put on some mass, and am shoveling food down 5 times a day. (The ladies that work in the cafeteria here in the federal building I am at think it's "cute" that I come in every few hours asking for brown rice and chicken breast...) I have read on some old threads that soda is BAD. I have always drank diet soda (thank the navy and marine corps for that), so the calories are not there. This is how I get my fix in the morning.
BUT, I travel cross country constantly (2 or 3 times a week), which really gets me jet-lagged. There are days when I NEED caffiene in the morning, or I end up feeling like shit, get headaches, all the other BS.
So the question is, what is the "best" way to get caffiene into me in the morning, without sacrificing the mass I am trying to put on, and the muscle growth that is hopefully going on from the gym the night before?
