Cutting Diet...may need some tweaking
I have been looking through the diet section of the forum for a few days now and have used the info I've gathered to plan a cutting diet. It looks like this:
7:30 - 6 egg whites = 102 cal 24g pro 0 carbs
cup oatmeal = 200 cal 8g pro 28 carbs 4g fat
11:00 - Lean Protein Shake = 220 cal 44g pro 6 carbs 4g fat
tbsp Flax Oil
1:45 - 1 can of tuna = 200 cal 33g pro 0 carbs .5 fat
with fat free mayo
Post Workout
3:30 - Nlarge 2 Shake = 600 cal 52g pro 86carbs 6g fat
6:00 - 1 Chicken Breast = 120 cal 24g pro 0 carbs 2g fat
Lean Protein shake = 220 cal 44g pro 6 carbs 4g fat
8:00 - 1 can of tuna = 200 cal 33g pro 0 carbs .5 fat
with fat free mayo
10:00 - Lean Protein Shake = 220 cal 44g pro 6 carbs 4g fat
Total
2032 cal 306 pro 130 carbs 25g fat
I am 5'10, 185lbs, and at about 19% body fat right now. Let me know where I can improve in my diet.Last edited by sabitu; 09-13-2003 at 10:43 AM.

Oh.....
I forgot to add this....I'll be doing 30min cardio 4x a week. I also still have to find something to substitute for the Nlarge 2 shake on the 2 days that I don't lift weights during the week. Any suggestions are welcome.

A Few Changes....
I've come across some more info in the past day and have changed my diet around a little. Below is my diet for the days I lift. For the days that I don't lift, I basically just took out the Nlarge 2 shake since I don't need those simple carbs for muscle recovery. Let me know if my macros are reasonable considering my stats. Here is my diet:

with fat free mayo
tbsp Natural Peanut Butter = 100 cal 3g pro 3 carbs 8g fat
3:30 - Nlarge 2 Shake = 300 cal 26g pro 43 carbs 3g fat
Lean Protein Shake = 110 cal 22g pro 3 carbs 2g fat
6:00 - 1 Chicken Breast = 180 cal 36g pro 0 carbs 4g fat
1 cup oatmeal = 200 cal 8g pro 28 carbs 4g fat
8:00 - 1 can of tuna = 200 cal 33g pro 0 carbs .5g fat
with fat free mayo
10:00 - Lean Protein Shake = 220 cal 44g pro 6 carbs 4g fat
Flax Oil = 40 cal 4.5g fat
Total
2062 cal 281 pro 116 carbs 43g fat
