i started a carb diet 7 days ago.i weight 202 with 12%bf .after 6 days i drop to 190.now on the 7th day im at 196.why did i gaing 6# back in one day.is it water weight.
also how longe will i have to diet to see my abs?

my stats are 5'10 196 with 12%bf age17teen bench365
my diet is 200 protein 20 or less carb aday 100+g or fat aday i run 5 days aweek workout 4 days aweek
I would have to say pretty much all of the weight you have dropped is water, but you may have lost 1-2 pounds of fat. I have not the authority on low carb so i can't really offer much here. You might talk to Mike_XXL he's very knowledgable about diet in general or use the search button(do a search first), But i do know it takes about 3-4 days to go into full ketosis if that's what you were aiming for.
As far as how long it will talke for you to see your abs, well that is kinda hard to say. maybe a month maybe 2 just depends on your rate of fat loss. What kind of exercises do you do for your abs?
