    Pasta question

    I have been trying out new foods recently while bulking up, and I noticed that spaghetti noodles looked pretty good. Just plain old thin, hard noodles, boiled in water. Nutrition info looks like this..
    fat=0
    cholest.=0
    protein=7 g.
    carbs=42 g.
    sodium=0 g.

    That is for just 2 oz. also. So, I'm thinking that looks pretty good but I could use some adivce from any vets if there's something I'm missing!
    Thanks,
    Kstone

    What exactly kind of advice do you want? I'm not a vet but pasta is a good source of complex carbs and good when bulking like you said... I cook some up with 1-2 chicken breasts and throw some mrs dash seasoning on it all myself...

    unless you are using whole wheat pasta, you are not getting complex carbs. Regular pasta is made from processed grains and is quickly converted into sugar by your body. Much like white bread.

    hybrid is right on the money bro, if you're going to eat pasta make sure it's whole wheat pasta.
