    LBM or body weight?

    Its seems like everywhere I read, I hear about how people should be taking x amount of whatever per pound of body weight. Since fat doesnt do anything and muscle burns calories, wouldnt it make more sense to go for x amount per pounds of lean body mass?

    I always calculate for lbm not weight. It makes perfect sense.

    Yeah, cuz I was thinkin, its pretty pointless to add up all those extra pounds, especially when the point is to get rid of them
