Oatmeal and Whole Oats
I have been looking, but I can't find the difference in GI levels between whole oats and oatmeal (crushed whole oats, the instant kind). Does anyone know the difference in GI between the two?

Should be no difference. If you do a search I posted the FAQ from the quaker oatmeal site. The only difference between how fast they cook is how much they slice up the oat. It is all the same thing. Just avoid the type with added sugar. Get the plain kind and use a pack of splenda as a suger substitute.

Good post bro. I guess I read somewhere that whole oats were a lower GI because they were not cut so fine. It is probably a negligible difference is there is any anyways.
