    cut off time for carbs

Just wondering if at any of you bros cut your carb intake completely after a certain time. i usualy cut carbs after 6 pm unless i workout late. but normally i cut them after 6. my theory is that it might help not to gain as much fat than if i would eat carbs with every meal. just wondering what you all think....

There is no set time everday on when you should quit eating one certain type of food or another, it all depends on your activity and schedule, not the clock.

also your metabolism. I struggle to gain so I am serving up a nice bowl of linguine with light alfredo, fresh cheese, chopped walnuts and a can of tuna mixed in at about 9pm 4 times a week. If you gain easily then lunch would be a good cutoff, evening just protien and veggies.

See this is incorrect, I am an easy gainer and I eat carbs pretty close to bed time with little to no fat gains because it's an appropriate time according to me activities for the day. You plan your macro's around your activities for the day, not the clock.

yep, pwo and p-pwo are two of the most important meals of the day...regardless of what time it it.

Now on non-training days I wouldn't eat carbs past 6pm. But then again it depends on a person's goals, metabolism, and off course the "supps."

Agreed...everyone is different and there are many variables. It takes some time to figure out what works for you.

the cut off time is not near as important as carb "type" (low GI, unless post workout)
