How different should my diet be on rest days?

How differnt should it be? I was thinking about eating the same amount of carbs, and upping the fat by a little. Also thinking about eating non-lean meat on these days. Also, how much carbs should a 5'11 170lber consume when bulking?

On days you don't train the first rule of thumb will be that your carbs are NOT the same, not even close.

Lower your carbs on rest days...should only come from veggies and small amount of oats....
Me, I do 120 carbs on workout days and 60 on rest days....most of the carbs eliminated are from my two post workout meals and i up the fat to compensate.

so the whole basis of consuming mass carbs for bulking is a fallacy? Also 120 carbs on training days? How much calories do you consume a day and what are your stats?

Ah..sorry bro I'm actually cutting, i didnt realize you were bulking though i would still imagine carbs would be lowered on rest days....
    Stats:
    5'9, 195, 11-12% BodyFat
Consume 2250-2350 Cals, 250-275 Pro, 60-120 Carb,95-125 Fat...The low carb number is off day carb count with the higher fat number and vice versa for Workout Days.

I would check out the Massive Eating article at www.t-mag.com it's by John Berardi and you can find it by doing a search on that site...it should point you in the right direction.

Remember that carbs are protein sparing, but do not contribute to muscle growth other than glycogen restoration in the initial stages, aka, the pwo drinks/meals.

    Protein builds flesh......
