Carbo Hit is a supplement that is 100% complex carbs derived from grain sources and no sugar

where do you get it from?? sorry to hijack a little...but i'm curious

by the way...didn't you just answer your own question regarding what it's made of??

and my guess would be that if it is complex carbs, it would be relatively low GI (i know this doesn't always ring true) but it's usually a good marker, in comparison to sugars

it's probably maltodextrin....which i believe is 100 on the GI scale.

If it ain't malto or dextrose, I wouldn't even consider using it. It's either those or real food.

I used Carbo Hit at one point, but stopped when realizing it was about 80-90% malto, and not nearly enough dextrose for a PWO shake. Ultra Fuel or Gycoload contain a better ratio, actually an ideal one if you are too lazy to measure your own portions.
