    cheat day

    can i eat anything i want on a cheat day? Does the meal have to be something small? Maybe somehting big? or maybe an all day small meal cheat fest?

    EDIT- or maybe not eat half my meals on a regular ON day?

    You cheat for 24 hours. Its called cheat day for a reason. Thats why its called a 'cheat day', not cheat meal

    I've had a cheat day today (XMas day), really bad, high fat/Carbs, everything Sh..t! I feel guilty, like i'm gonna put weight back on, but surely that won't happen, it's just one day

    Eat whatever you want on Xmas. but next six get on the ball and do the same on the 7th cheat.. simple.

    as they said its 24 hour period of eating what you please.. but as you get closer to your goal try to spread the cheat they out instead of it being on your 7th day make it on you 11th or 12th day.. and also dont OD like 4 value meals for lunch half a mule for dinner.. just eat what you have been craving druing your diet in a modarate amount.. just my $.02...

    Well the primary reason for a cheat day is so your body does not get used to the diet (and not to mention to keep your sanity). I personally would just keep it at every 7th day, rather then extended it as the diet goes on. As the diet goes along your body will get more used to it, so you should just keep it at every 7th day, by extending the cheat days your body will just get more used to the diet. You will not get fat, just for one day of cheating. But on your cheat day, dont go nuts just eat in moderation.
