creatine when cutting?
for a person who is trying to cut and lose BF %. ss creatine a good supplement to take ONLY after a workout.
micronized creatine with dextrose mixed with glutamine and whey isolate w/ water right after a workout.
someone suggested drinking half in the middle/towards end the workout and the rest at the end.

Carbohydrate synthesis is a cellular anabolic activator within muscle. Recent research has shown that the supplements creatine and glutamine both act synergistically with glucose to maximize glycogen accumulation in muscle. When taken straight after training, a 7-10gram dose of glutamine combined with carbohydrates, results is better glycogen accumulation throughout the entire body than either supplement taken alone.
Creatine-filled muscles store more carbohydrates that results in greater work capacity.

Don't ever pull articles off of a site that is pushing a product. Glutamine is useless with most whey isolate after a workout, as Glut vs. Glut peptides fight for digestion...

okay i know im going to get a lot of **** about this.. but i think creatine is a good addition to a shake besides a little bloating which if you stop using creatine in the 2-3 weeks before your set end date will go away with proper use intake of water.. glutamine is really good idea to provent muscle loss and as rambo said any site that has advertisment for a product and just happens to push that product in thier articles is 99% bs..

this transporter is exclusive to Glutamine meaning that otehr amino acids to not compete for transport with glutamine..what regulates glutamine uptake is external sodium (in tehblood) and the osmolarity of teh muscle cell ( how much fluid there is
glutamine is also unfortunately burned for energy by enterocytes (small intestinal cells) so glutamine on its own on an empty stomach is a waste of money
glutamine will not spare muscle mass directly or alter the kinetics of amino acid uptake..it works through other independent mechanism one of which is to satisfy your immune systeme which also uses this as a fuel
that is why if you are stressed or sick glutamine is so important
