    affordable proteins for college student.

I was hoping some of you guys on here could post some cheap good protein sources for someone on a college budget. I can think of eggs and tuna. Thanks for anyone's input.

pick up some protein from gnc bro. the best shiot out right now for alot of guys to pick up as far as im concerned is called "ON 100% WHEY". 77 servings in each container. 110 calories,10 from fat. .5 grams saturated fat. 23 grams of protein. the best part though is only 3 grams of carbs, and one of those from sugar.its the protein i switched too and has been awesome when cutting up and dieting right. depends on what u want bro.alot of protein out there has more grams of it per serving, but your gettin tons of carbs with it.myoplex was good when i was bulking, lots of carbs. both ive mentioned were pretty cheap pickups at gnc,u could shop the net like one bro said,i prefer not too. my 2 cents, good luck brotha

If you go with optimum nutrition 100% whey 10lbs then buy it at allsportsnutrition.com. That will save you much $ over gnc. They have another 10lb whey protien on an at cost special $37. It will last you a while.

If you're thrifty, buy the pro-rated protein for $37 plus a few bucks for shipping and handling. Other than that, you can live on $5 a day if you want to. Eggs are a dollar a dozen, tuna is 2 for a buck when its on sale, you can find beef for a buck a pound on sale. About as cheap as you can get, unless you buy an unlimited meal plan if you're in the dorms.

Go in with someone and buy a cow. I'm serious, you can have a butcher slice it up probaly for less than a dollar a pound.

Well assuming he is in a part of the counrty where you can find one.

Of course if you're a college student, where the hell are you gonna put a couple hundred lbs of beef?

Honestly, If i could buy a cow, I would, but there's no place around here. Cause if I had my own place with room for an extra freezer for the **** cow, I'd do it in an instant.

    Now your thinking Sab, lol.

And don't dismiss my crazy cow idea just yet. All you need to do is find a few people interested in a few lbs of meat and keep the rest to yourself. You will probably also need an extra storage fridge (get one for 200 bucks) and well the most important thing you'll need is nearby access to a farm. But hey its a thought!
