A contradiction????
here's an interesting problem: When u cut, its suggested that you limit carbs after 6pm cuz insulin in highest at night and u r most inactive...but then again, whether cutting or bulking, they say you should consume a moderate to high carb with protein drink 1 hr prior to workout and within 1 hr after...now, what if u workout from 7-8pm??? I mean, u would be consuming a hi carb/ med protein post exercise shake....wouldnt that be a contradiction? How would one resolve this?

You still take your shake because nutrients are absorbed immediately following a workout, and are not absorbed as fat. The insulin spike shuttles those nutrients post workout.

besides you are not being inactive if you are working out late...you are busting your ass (hopefully) so your body needs the nutrients right away no matter what time it is.

hmm... i get the point...if u r active at night then obviously you need the energy..thats what i thought and have been doing all along....until some guy at the gym told me that if i wuz gonna cut then thats what i needed to do with my carbs...thanx for dispelling the myth swolecat..must say you did it very passionately

Hey Swole...
Do you find it hard to walk with everyone swinging from your nuts?
I just feel like I'm on ignore sometimes. But it's cool, if I looked at your avatar I would take your advice over the dude with a chemical in his avatar. And a name like rambo... what a fag is he.
