    How Many Men in Here......

consume soy protein? I dont go out and buy soy protein powder or Luna bars but those boca burgers for some reason really satisfy my tastebuds. And thos btches are made form soy protein concentrate as well as other stuff.

    Anyone else eat those?

I stay clear from soy. I have read my studies that shows soy can raise estrogen levels in males. But on the same token I have read studies that disprove that theory. Either way I stay away until I hear for sure.

I avoid it on principle alone.

No man should ever be reduced to eating any soy product.

I'm not a guy..but I've heard about this too and I think it's alright if you only eat it once in a while or in small amounts.

I had read in a woman's magazine that pregnant women who are carrying a male child or breastfeeding should limit their soy intake. A university (I forgot who it was) did a study and found that women who consumed soy products could lower the test levels in the child (male) and it could even cause the child to have smaller genatiala (sp). I'm pretty sure my mom was eating it by the shovel fulls. hahaha

Do you REALLY want to hear me answer that?

If I'm absolutely desperate I'll shovel tofu. But I hate doing it. I really do. But it's better that than nothing if that's all there is. **** Asians in Hawaii...

whats the deal with soy? ive been left out of the loop somewhere, cause i've been buying the **** at Sam's by the cart full. i thought it would be a good addition to my diet. low cals, high (soy) protien, etc...

but you know i was going to ask the question, maybe swole or someone would know the bioavailability of soy in boca burgers- they arent the staple of my diet, but helps curb cravings...

Amen to that. I just had a nice thick steak and after that I would not dream of touching a soy burger ever.
