    30lbs in 4 months??

I am 19yrs 6' 190lbs pretty solid and I decided that I am going to try and get to 220lbs in 4 months (my birthday). I am not talking about 30lbs of pure muscle but 30lbs which I can turn into muscle. How hard do you think it will be to gain 30lbs?? and do you think I can do it in quicker that 4 months, how much quicker? and how much of it can be muscle? I am not taking anything except protein drinks. Any good pointers of food I should eat or powders I should take that could help me obtain my goal? Thanks Alot

    ...

1-2 pounds a week gain is ideal if your not juicing.

    2pds x 4weeks= 8pds

    8pds x 4 months= 32 pounds

    It is very do-able.

I don't think that's a great idea. You're gonna be putting a lot of extra stress on your muscles and tendons by putting weight on that fast. Plus you'll probably always feel bloated and have to crap like 6 times a day .

Why don't you go for 20lbs instead? That's around a pound a week.

Can it be done in less than 4 months, yes. I've done 90lbs in 8 months and ate healthy, but still gained alot of fat, so no I wouldn't recommend it that quickly. Take it slow and gain gradually, it's the best way when going natural.

1 pound a week for 4 months is 16 pounds not 20. 1-2 pounds a week is ideal as I stated earlier. And as with any bulking you'll put on some fat. Just eat as clean as possible to minimize fat gain.
