Protein per sitting
I had always heard that your body can only absorb 30g of protein per sitting, the rest was wasted. This article says otherwise

Protein Problems? about half way down.
So whats the truth? Would it be ok to take 4 servings of protein at once?

ok the whole 30 grams per meal is pretty much ignored...however i do think that it does depend on the person and the activity that they performed...personally i get between 40-50 grams per meal, so i can evenly space it out through six meals and i havent had problems. now you dont want too much protein cuz it can be stored as fat in excess just like carbs and fats. basically take your lean mass and get 1.5g protein per pound to start, divided by 6 meals...though PWO you might want a bit less than average because at that point your body needs carbs more than protein to rebuild. dont worry though 40-50g protein per meal (estimate) wont hurt you.

Again, I ask.......
"Can a 150 lb. person assimilate as much protein per sitting as a 245 lb. monster?"
NO!
Therefore, everyone will differ on the amounts by musculature, suppe, aids, etc.

Do you think 300+ grams of protein is too much for one who weighs 165?
