Looking to start to bulk up on some muscle diet?!

So ive dropped my body weight down from 215 to about 185.. A 30 pounds im proud of. But at the same time im not a big guy anymore in my mind lol so im looking to start to gain some weight back, but in the muscle department for the next couple of months before rugby season starts up. + its **** coldout right now :S. I figure it would make the most sense to bulk in the offseason, cuz theres gonna be alot of cardio when season starts up so it would be to tough accomadate even more extra calories.

The whole idea of gaining weight i seem to struggle with, im just so used to cutting now!

So in general im looking to increase my calories so i dont run a defecit.

    Alot of potatoes allright?
So eat like a pig aslong as its healthy? Strive to eat a gram of protein per pound of body weight? 6 or more meals a day

Any tips or hints you guys would suggest? How do you guys get extra calories besides MRPS and bars?

I know i havent posted a diet on here, or given specific examples of what i eat but im just trying to get some ideas in my head for what to consume, then ill tr to hammer out a diet later after i've added your guys input!

    Thanx for anything!

Do some research bro!!! Don't take the lazy way out by relying on others to make a diet for you. There is so much to learn on this board, and you should take advantage of knowing why you are eating a certain way.

For lean bulk, eat clean Kcals and lots of them. Protein intake should be at least bodyweight x 2.

For extra clean Kcals try having protein shakes and olive oil in between meals. Or you can always carry around a jar of natty pb with you around campus, hehe.

I would say 1.5-1.7 to be technical for bulking. 2x for cutting. Same a good amount of cals. for clean carbs.

yes. a good ratio such as 50p/25c/25f is ive read in countless studies as a good ratio for dropping pounds and sparing as much lean muscle tissue as possible.
