am cardio --> meal 1 pro/fat = better fat loss/lyposis??
after doing a 45min cardio session in the morning.
would it be more beneficial to consume something like
1 lean chicken breast with 2 tsp flax
20ish protein
210ish cals
8.1 g of fat
and the second meal would than be the 'normal' breakfast
oatmeal/lean protein
i am curious.. swole.. would that help lyposis at all? or beneficial?

I'd never take dextrose after cardio being that the cardio I employ/recommend for pure fat loss woud not be indicative of needing glycogen replinishment of any great degree, and most certainly not from dextrose. (Just my suggestions, don't jump on me)
As well, since I'm guessing ketosis is NOT a part of your diet, either oats/egg whites or egg whites and a few whole eggs or flax oil, would be just fine as a first meal of the day.

also, i just recently started emplementing the dextrose at the advice of a couple guys i know that personal train. i dont mean to sound vendictive swole, but isnt dextrose good after heavy cardio to replenish glycogen stores or is mainly good in conjunction with fructose and maltodextrin for various energy boosts during a weightlifiting or cardio routine? If it is the latter wouldnt the combination of carbohydrates ensure energy levels are sustained over prolonged periods of time.Last edited by daman1; 02-05-2004 at 11:50 AM.

Heavy cardio would have to mean that you burned a good amount of glycogen, no? I don't believe Swole recommends that intense of a cardio session. I may be wrong.

Precisely.
They are different methods. I don't even say the words "heavy cardio".
Fueling a cardio session aimed at burning fat (as the said thread starter is doing, hence my stance), with carbs/sugars/etc. would yield absolutely no results for the thread starter.

I guess what I'm thinking is too hard to explain, as I don't mean heavy cardio as in 2 hour sessions, but I do understand what your saying swole.

Heavy cardio is not indicative of a session being lengthly.
I'm referring to the HIIT variety as well.
